Communications (COMM) 100, Introduction to Research and Study Skills is designed to help you improve the academic skills you need to be a successful university student. The course teaches planning and time management skills, strategies for critical thinking, online research skills and information literacy, as well as methods to improve reading and note-taking. You will also learn how to write better research papers and improve your techniques for test and exam preparation. This undergraduate, three-credit course is a good consideration for a first course. If you are enrolled in an AU program, consult your program plan or Advising Services to determine if this course meets your program requirements.
